Don Harris

As the first person in his family to go to college, Don Harris holds dual degrees in religion and history. He attended Nazarene Theological Seminary before changing to the study of law and receiving his J.D. from Southern Methodist University. During law school, he clerked for Representative Dan Branch. After graduation, Don began his law career in Austin where he was general counsel for a large mortgage firm. 

Don was raised in Houston, where he played football for Spring Woods High School. He and his wife, Betsy, are the proud parents of three sons.
